Applying for a Learning through Work programme is straightforward. Our step by step guide (Pdf 293KB) will help you complete the application form.

At the start of the application process you will be asked to enter a username and password; this will give you access to the remainder of the site and the application form.

TOP TIP: Make sure you can remember the username and password you use, or write it down! We recommend you use lower case for both username and password, and do not use punctuation marks.

Your online application will then be sent through to the university or college you have selected who will then review it. You will be informed by email of the outcome of your application. The time this takes will depend on the university or college you choose. You can check the status of your application by returning to your online application.

If your application is rejected, you will be sent an email explaining why. Occasionally, you may receive an email from your university or college for further information or clarification before they make a final decision.
